Who starts the work, owns the next action, reviews it and needs visibility?
A clear map of work gives a team a better basis for choosing software, improving an existing system or defining a custom build.
Choose a workflow with a visible outcome: an enquiry becoming a client, a formation case reaching completion, a vehicle returning from rental, a maintenance request being closed or a renewal being prepared. A broad wish to “digitise” is difficult to scope until the operation is concrete.
Who starts the work, owns the next action, reviews it and needs visibility?
What information, documents, decisions or status changes must be available?
Where does the work move between people, teams or systems?
What should be automatic, what needs a check and what requires explicit approval?
What happens when the normal route fails, and what needs to be visible to a manager?
Which existing systems, exports or APIs need to contribute to the workflow?
The map can reveal whether an existing ABDflow product is close to the required workflow, whether a configuration or integration may be enough, or whether the business needs a custom operating layer. It also makes the scope discussion more concrete without assuming a delivery time or price.
Existing products can provide a focused starting point when their records and workflows fit the operation. ABDflow can also design the missing parts around a company’s actual process.
